With the permission of the National Trust, I was given access to this extraordinary property, which overlooks Pentire Headland with a view to hosting an exhibition. I used the opportunity to show a mixed selection of paintings from my archive, alongside my Polaroid Series and some video work. The setting (a dilapidated holiday cottage, earmarked for dramatic renovations) was the perfect setting to explore this place, which is so engrained in my practice. From the windows of the farmhouse, Pentire Head looms quietly in the background, changing as it does with the light, time of day, seasons and weather.
