Intervals

Oil, Wax and Resin on Panel [61x91]

This series continues my interest in the exchange of terminology between the fields of sound/music and that of spatial representation.

In music an interval is the difference in pitch between two sounds. In the spatial sense an interval is the gap or separation between two things.

An Interval can also be pause or break between two events and conveys the passage of time; the often subtle changes in landscape, say, as time (or our consciousness) progresses.
